Trip to Cawker

The kids and I loaded up for a 4 day trip to Cawker to see Grandma and Grandpa Green and of course Kyra's Freebum! We left Monday and got out there a little later than we wanted. I forgot how much STUFF is required to pack to care for a newborn on a trip...LOL

Kyra had a blast with her Gamma and Freebum. It was funny the night we got there Freedom and some of her friends were playing with Kyra and all I could think of was that about 13 years ago I was doing the SAME thing but with Freedom when I was in High School. So much can change in such a short amount of time. Kyra followed Freedom around like her shadow and Kyra just ADORES Freedom. Freedom and her had fun and then on Tuesday Kyra, Freedom and I went to Beloit to get some ice cream at DQ after supper. That was fun going over there just us girls.

Kyra always loves taking bath out there in Gamma's BIG bath tub...she told me we needed a new one:) LOL I think I got ONE bath alone out there, otherwise Miss Kyra was jumping in the tub with me each time. Brady got his bath in the sink...but only one...which is amazing because my mom loves to give both of them baths.

Uncle Kenny came out on Tuesday and he loves the kids too! Our last day there Brady and I fell asleep and all I remember is Kenny saying Kyra and him were going outside and I said "Kyra don't run away from Kenny!" Well, those two walked all the way to the bank to see Gamma and then back. So thankful to Kenny for getting her out of the house because she has been cooped up inside too long. They have the best time...she was going around the house yelling "Uncle Kenny!"

Brady did the baby thing of eating, sleeping, pooping, and peeing;) We have some pictures but I'll have to post them later because they are on my mom's camera.
